The thing is, I only died once more, and that was because I intentionally ran straight at Mama to kill myself, and I had to do this twice as the first time failed and she just teleported away. Through the game, I only died only twice, once in what appears to be a bug, as when I looked through my footage I found no indication that Mama was nearby, but I’m fine with one weird death. I personally only found it mildly challenging, and that is because the game doesn’t tell you where the flipping candles are, so I spent about 15 minutes wandering until I randomly found an intractable vase. The only time you get a challenge is in day 4, during which you are forced to search for candles that are hidden in vases.
Another thing that irritates me is that she doesn’t get any more aggressive or dangerous after the second night. Players can find hidden eggs scattered throughout the game, adding to the replayability.įor a starter, Mama does not move unless she can see hear you and looking at her only kills your flashlight. However, there remains one brief ray of hope in the form of Tattletail, a game which seeks to educate the public as to just how malevolent these furry monstrosities are. Though now they’re back, and it can only be a matter of time we hear the march of their tiny feet and feel the sting of their beaks as they tear through our flesh. Luckily, this catastrophe was averted when they fell out of public favour a couple of years later. I'd like to see them fix the achievements & hopefully it is also a "Perfect Game" when you have all of them.I remain convinced that they were secretly plotting to overthrow their oblivious owners. It made me think back to Furbies & Mama reminded me of Teddy Ruxpin. Chat seemed to really think it was fun! No option for audio which is always a sign of an annoyingly loud game. It was a fun game, it's got some really good jumpscares, cute art style, decent map & mechanics.
Tattletail can be quite annoying, however when I went back to get these last 2 achievements, I realized there is a trick to keeping him MOSTLY quiet & the game was MUCH easier!!! WAYGETTER, please fix this!!! Since I didn't get those last 2 achievements, I can't say whether this shows as a "Perfect Game" in Steam or not. Seems to have been an issue since 2020 that's never been fixed according to some threads I found on it. I have all 22 eggs & did the "Special thing" to get the hidden achievement but those 2 didn't register. For a $5 game, definitely recommend! I beat the game BUT 2 of the achievements didn't register! so I am stuck with 9 of 11 achievements.
